The right barrel is hand stamped with 2525, the E over LG, and a different AF crown symbol. The gun is marked with the E over LG so I know it was made in Belgium.

I assume that the AF crown symbol is the Auguste Francotte signature mark.

Ther is a mark above the beavertail that is the AF crown symbol and the number 316 surrounded on the sides by the words FRANCOTTE and BREVETE. There are also some manufacturer marks with AF and a crown in several places. It is marked on top on the rib with the following: 8420 A. The style appears to be from some time between 1940-1950 but I am just guessing. I have a Francotte.12 ga sid by side serial number 6198 (on the lower barrel rib and lower receiver) but with no date.
